I wrote this while rebuilding from nothing. My business was gone, I had a baby in my arms, and every practical voice in my head said I was too old to start over.

But somewhere in those exhausted nights, I started really watching my baby grow, and I saw myself in it. That fearless being, before it was bogged down by countless fears. Somewhere along the way, I'd forgotten how to try something without dreading how it might go wrong. I'd forgotten that life was supposed to be lived like that: unsure, unafraid, and still worth trying. Then my research started.

The idea of a parenting book for the "baby" that was in us... a long time ago, that's where this book came from, and it's why the Circle exists too, a place to share what's real without being judged, without anyone reaching you.
